Governance at BDF

At the Bali Dyslexia Foundation, strong governance is central to our mission of providing inclusive education for neurodivergent and underprivileged children across Indonesia. As a registered NGO since 2019, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership in all areas of our operations. BDF is overseen by a Board of Advisors based in Indonesia and internationally, who provide independent oversight, guide our strategic direction, and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory frameworks.

Our programs, financial decisions, and partnerships are regularly reviewed to maintain the highest standards of integrity and compliance. All financial activities are independently audited and aligned with Indonesian non-profit laws. We maintain rigorous child safeguarding policies, data protection procedures, and cultural inclusion protocols, particularly when working with vulnerable communities and international volunteers.

We are also guided by a clear Code of Conduct and internal ethics framework that supports responsible decision-making, stakeholder accountability, and operational transparency. Through this robust governance model, BDF ensures that every donation, every training, and every intervention delivers measurable and ethical impact — honouring the trust of our students, staff, partners, and supporters.
