Bali Dyslexia Foundation is Bali's first free service dedicated to supporting students with dyslexia. Through teacher training, evidence-based assessments, inclusive education, and scholarships, the foundation empowers dyslexic learners to access quality education and achieve their full potential.
Impact
In just six years, the Bali Dyslexia Foundation has trained 1,987 teachers in 225 government schools across North Bali. Through its dyslexia screening program, the foundation has reached 8,560 children, enabling early identification and support for learning differences. Schools receive tailored classroom interventions, helping participating students achieve an average 45% improvement in literacy through inclusive, multisensory learning.
Creating a Meaningful Impact
In rural and remote areas of Indonesia, including North Bali, many children lack access to affordable early childhood services that can identify dyslexia. As a result, they often miss opportunities for early support and quality education that are more readily available in urban areas.
