Dyslexia Screening Training with BDF
On October 22–23, 2026, Bali Dyslexia Foundation conducted a follow-up training program for participants who had previously attended the Early Dyslexia Identification Training in September 2025. The program was attended by 100 participants representing 50 elementary schools in Seririt District, Buleleng Regency. Unlike the previous training held at the BDF Performing Arts Hall, this time the BDF team directly visited Seririt District to bring the program closer to participating teachers and partner schools.
The training was conducted over two days in two different locations. The first day was held at SDN 2 Bubunan, while the second day took place at SDN 3 Ringdikit. During the program, participants received both theoretical and hands-on training on how to independently conduct dyslexia screening through the BDF website platform. Teachers were introduced to the data input system, the screening instrument process, and how to interpret initial screening results for students requiring further attention.
This program aimed to strengthen schools’ independence in conducting early dyslexia detection in a faster, more structured, and sustainable manner. Through this training, teachers are expected to independently carry out screenings without relying solely on external identification processes, enabling students who require support to receive assistance more quickly. In addition to improving teachers’ capacities, the program also represents an important step toward developing a technology-based inclusive education system that can be implemented widely across schools in Buleleng Regency.
