81 Students Join Dyslexia Screening with Bali Dyslexia Foundation
After completing the first two training phases, Bali Dyslexia Foundation continued with the third program phase: the Dyslexia Screen Test Assessment in Seririt District, Buleleng Regency. This program targeted elementary schools that had previously participated in the early identification and independent screening training sessions. Through the BDF website platform, teachers had submitted data on students who showed indications of dyslexia based on classroom observations and initial school screenings.
Out of the 50 participating elementary schools, a total of 81 students were identified in the preliminary screening data and subsequently took part in the Dyslexia Screen Test Assessment conducted by the BDF team. The program was implemented gradually from November 10, 2025, until January 26, 2026. During this process, the BDF team carried out further observations and assessments to better understand each student’s learning condition, allowing the screening results to serve as the basis for determining the most appropriate support for every child.
This program aimed to help schools and parents gain a clearer understanding of the learning needs of children identified with possible dyslexia. In addition to being an advanced identification process, the assessment also became an important step before entering the additional learning support program for students requiring specialized assistance. Through this follow-up support, BDF hopes students will improve their literacy skills, self-confidence, and access to learning methods that better match their educational needs.
